Covid-19 Safety

WCB Insurance Coverage

Tofield Electric provides WCB Alberta coverage for its team members. We are happy to provide you with a current clearance letter on request. If you hire a contractor without their own WCB Alberta coverage, you may be responsible for paying premiums on their behalf if they get injured. Having proper coverage in place protects all parties.

Liability Insurance

A reputable contractor will show you their policy for liability insurance. We have sufficient coverage and can provide the policy to prove it. 

Licensing and Certification

Rod Nachtigall, owner of Tofield Electric possesses a Certified Masters License, with the company name on it. Without this document, as a homeowner, you might be asked to pull a homeowner’s permit. Beware if you are told that a homeowner’s permit is all that’s required to do the work. Working under a homeowner’s permit absolves the contractor of any liability, placing it on the homeowner. Tofield Electric is a reputable company and we have a Certified Master Electrician pulling permits and checking work.
